We’re Juli and Steve—a designer and a chef who met in Telluride in the ’90s. We moved on to other places, but Telluride always felt like home. Finding this little studio gave us a way to reconnect with the town we love.
SQRL Nest takes its name from Steve’s nickname, Squirrel—earned by flying through the trees on his snowboard and his proclivity for nuts and berries as a vegetarian.
Juli reimagined the former ’80s motel room as a retreat that feels cozy and luxurious, making the most of every square foot. SQRL Nest is our home base in Telluride, and we’re happy to share it with you.
